An update for May

Greetings,

We thought we’d include some updated photos of all the children.  So, toward the end you will find those.  We have 32 really great kids and they are doing well.

Veronique was able to attend a missions conference in Alabama.  Her main purpose was to share information on IDADEE.  She took photos of the orphanage, chapel, and school.  Plus she included photos of each of the children.  She shared what is going on and the future plans for the ministry.

We have added a third floor to the orphanage, and that is where the children’s rooms are now.  It is cooler being up so high, and now we can dedicate more area to different aspects of the ministry.

The children attend school 5 days a week.  We have 6 teachers and the children seem to be doing well.  We also now have a nurse at IDADEE full time.  She lives at the orphanage.  This is an added blessing for everyone.  Prayerfully in the not too distant future we will have a doctor and a clinic at the compound.  Please keep that in prayer for us.  Not only the orphanage but the whole area needs the medical care it could provide.

We are in the process of building the primary school, not only for the IDADEE children but for children in the surrounding area.  That is another area where we need prayer.

We ask that you continue to keep all aspects of our ministry in prayer.  The Lord will lead us where He wants us to go, but we need to be willing to listen.  So pray for all of the committee as well as the children and workers.  Thank you in advance for your prayers.

And now, on to the children:

We close asking you to continue to pray for IDADEE, the committee, the staff, the workers, and especially the children.   We covet your prayers to keep us doing what the Lord has called us to.  Each of the children are very special, to us, to the Lord and we pray, to you also.  Thank you, and blessings!!

  1. We recently have "adopted" ( adopted to pray for)Denise from this orphanage in Haiti! We were hoping to find out more about her, so that we can pray specifically for her! I can be reached at hlberner@yahoo.com
