FINALLY AN UPDATE
Greetings in the Lord,
We realize it has been WAY TOO LONG since we
have been on here, or posted any photos.
So, we will try and do an update that fills everyone in. Before we post the photos of the
children, we will let you know what has been going on.
Our school here at the compound is doing
well. All of our children are in
the school now. We have
kindergarten and first grade. We
have 4 teachers, one part time teacher, and the woman who cleans is a helper. We also have a principle.
We are in the process of putting a third
floor on the orphanage. We will
move the children up there when it is complete. It will be cooler for them, too. The 2nd floor will be dining room, offices and
storage for items, medicines and supplies.
What a blessing and time saver for us. We can now have more area for the
children to play. Also it will
make it easier to have large gatherings for Bible study, Kids Fest and other
things.
We worked on the wall and it is very close to
being all around the whole compound. We had a garden, but we also had a draught
and it killed our garden. Then we
had the horrible rains, but it was too late to save our plants.
We were blessed by Missionary Flights
International. Someone had donated
clothing to them for Haiti. They
sent us a lot of things for our children.
What a wonderful help that was.
Mr. Stan Curtis and his wife, Gloria, also helped us with clothing and food. Wills Valley church in Alabama also sent us a lot of clothing to help out. God has richly blessed us with all the wonderful help we have received.
We now have 30 children. Just recently we have added 5 more to
our home. All 5 of these are
girls. We’ll list them with
photos. The 6th child, also a girl, we just received yesterday, so do not have her photo yet, or her name. If you know of someone who
would like to help support these children, we would be very happy. Please refer them to Mr. Remy
Fils-Aime. They can do this
through: idadeekids@yahoo.com.
It may take us several postings to get all of
our children and their photos on here.
Please have patience with us.
Internet access is not always available.
Thank you for your time and for being there
for us. We appreciate your prayers
and support in what we are doing here in Haiti.

What is going on at IDADEE?
Thank you so much for your patience.
It’s been long time since we posted pictures and news about what is going on at IDADEE.
Help us praise the Lord. We have had a very good year of school at IDADEE.
The names of the kids graduated are: Charleus Wakenson, Dormeus Feguens Efrayim, Edouard Amy, Jean Dieulene, Louime Ruth, Thelusma Modelene, Valmyr Emmanuella.
We are posting photos of the graduated kids and of whole children
and spectators in that circumstance. We are hoping you can bear with us while
looking through them all.
This year, in September,
those graduated kids will attend the primary school. So, we are planning to
open a new classroom and we hope to be able to add 8 more helpless children to
the orphanage to enter in the first class of the kindergarten. The needs are so
great. This would require adding a new bedroom and we would need to hire
another care giver, another teacher, food, medical care, clothes, etc. The cost
of this would be: $2,850 for supplies and furnishings, and an additional $852
for our monthly budget. Please pray with
us for our finances.
We are very sorry because some employees and kids have contracted the chikungunya virus. We have had trip to the doctor on different occasions, but they are better now. Everyone is OK now. We praise the name of God.Please keep praying for the health of those who have contracted this virus and praying for a solution for this epidemic.
We have a new mom named Jessie to replace Youselande. Please pray for Youselande also, she has ulcer and fibroid (fibroma).
Thank you so much for reading our blog. May God keep blessing you.

FINALLY, an update
Greetings,
We apologize for taking so long to get an update out to everyone. Things have been very busy and many things going on. Our Christmas celebration was a lot of fun for everyone. We are so thankful for those who sent gifts for the children. We will be posting a lot of photos today and hope you can bear with us while looking through them all.
We've had Christmas, a wedding, a beach day, plus a lot of work going on here. The children have grown and they really enjoyed their Christmas time. We've had trips to the doctor on different occasions, but all are doing good now. The weather caused colds and coughs, but prayerfully it is evening out now and the kids will be totally over these crazy colds.
Our first pictures are of the chapel, gazebo, and play ground. We finally got some good pictures and wanted to share them.

Sorry these pictures are not in order, but the blog puts them where it wants to, not where we want them to. But they are here.
We hope in the near future to have a good photo of each one of the children to post on here. Pray with us that we can accomplish that. These kids are very hard to "corral" and get photos of.
Please pray with us for all the children, for our finances, for our workers and their families and for the Lord to walk with us and show us what to do and when to do it.
Thank you for your patience with us and we appreciate all your prayers.
